Electronic Terrain- and Obstacle Data collection
Our company performs eTOD's "electronic Terrain- and Obstacle Data collection", defined by ICAO Annex 15. Electronic Terrain- and Obstacle Data collection is carried in conformity with the given areas and requirements (Area 1, Area 2a, 2b, 2c, Area 3 and Area 4), within the designated area and the airport's inner safety zone, by aerial and terrestrial survey geodetic methods.
The surveyed terrain features are sorted according to the set of conditions defined by international and domestic legislations. Terrains - that have reached or exceeded the defined surface of the area (collection surfaces) or the relative altitude criterion are reached – will set on Obstacle databases.
Erenfield's software suite in compliance with the relevant regulations (including ICAO Annex 15, etc.), will make it possible to create a obstacle database and edit aeronautical charts.
The eTOD survey provides different types of data packages to the Airport operator:
- Assigned Obstacle Limitation Surfaces (OLS)
- Digital Terrain Model (DTM)
- Digital Surface Model (DSM)
- AIP refreshing data package
- Ortophoto and raster files from the specified area
Completely updating, assessing and providing the Aeronautical Information Publication datas to air navigation services. Precise editing of the Aerodrome Obstacle Chart (AOC). As a result of continuous control and updating, the AIP extract data provides information on the state of the current conditions, including the accuracy, resolution and integrity requirements. All this in accordance with ICAO 8126 AIS Manual, ICAO Doc 9157, ICAO Doc 9674, etc. documents
Environmental Services
The Assessment is a cornerstone of the Green Airport effort. It will include a condition assessment of the airport-related investments and a survey of objects in the immediate vicinity.
The Airport GIS Software includes the collected and sorted airport data. With the system is it possible to calculate and develop, design and track changes as you can measure and modify data.
The Green Airport ambition provides an opportunity to improve environmental performance, reduce airport energy use, use renewable energy sources, develop selective waste collection and electric mobility, reduce CO2 emissions and carbon footprint. Our company will help you achieve these goals.
